The ESACT 2017 Meeting requires the full data for each individual participant, including updated postal address and e-mail address. Incomplete registrations cannot be processed. Confirmation of the registration will be sent only when the corresponding payment is received.

Early registrations will be accepted until 15 March 2017, midnight CET. The reduced fees will only apply when early registration is accompanied by payment and received before said deadline (15 March 2017). If your payment is not received before the deadline, the late registration fee will be automatically charged.
DELEGATES’S REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES:

- Lunches during the meeting, from Sunday to Wednesday
- All social programme activities
Full payment should be received before the relevant deadline. To facilitate processing, participants should clearly indicate in all remittances their name, address and the purpose for which the payment is made. Either of the following means can be used for payment:

For group registration, a minimum of 9 participants is required. Please fill in the ESACT 2017 – Group Registration Request Form and send it back to MCI at email@example.com. It is highly advised to collect Meeting documents as early pick-up. Kindly contact the Organising Secretariat, MCI.
Confirmation will be sent only when the corresponding payment is received. Participants should bring their letter of confirmation to the registration desk at the Convention Center when collecting their documents.
REGISTRATION AT THE VENUE
The Registration desk at the SwissTech Convention Center will open on Sunday 14 May 2017 and will stay open throughout the Meeting (according to opening hours indicated in the programme). The Registration Desk is located inside the main entrance of the Convention Center. Kindly note that by registering on-site, you are not guaranteed to get the Meeting documents, and that availability of hotel accommodation at that time may be limited. Please arrive early if you wish to register on-site.
BURSARIES FOR REGISTRATION, ACCOMMODATION AND TRAVEL EXPENSES
ESACT strives to promote animal cell culture technology research and related academic studies and is determined to encourage and facilitate the participation of students and postdoctoral researchers in the 2017 ESACT Meeting. In this context, ESACT is offering student bursaries that cover registration fees, accommodation in hotels to be assigned by the organizer and assistance with travel expenses.
Conditions for award of a bursary:
- The applicant must be a presenting first author of an abstract accepted as an oral or poster presentation
- The applicant must be a PhD student (proof of affiliation will be required) or a non-industrial postdoctoral researcher in the first three years of research following completion of the PhD degree (copy of PhD diploma/certificate will be required)
- The work presented in the abstract will be judged by the Scientific Committee and must be of high quality.
- In case the number of applicants fulfilling the basic criteria exceeds the available funds, the Scientific Committee reserves the right to rank according to scientific quality and relevance of the work to animal cell technology
- There are no geographical, age or other restrictions beyond what is described above
Interested applicants must submit their abstract via the online submission system and send a bursary request to firstname.lastname@example.org together with their CV and proof of their status.
Deadline for bursary applications is December 15th, 2016. Applicants will be notified on grant award by end of February 2017.
MCI has reserved a large number of hotel rooms in various hotels in different price categories. Kindly make your reservation while you are registering on-line. Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Individual participants are asked to book their hotel on-line. More information is available under the section “Accommodation”.
REGISTRATION MODIFICATION & CANCELLATION
All cancellations must be sent to MCI Suisse SA in writing (fax, letter, or email). For cancellations received until Wednesday 5 April 2017 deposits will be refunded less CHF 100 for administrative costs. After this date, no refund will be possible.
A handling fee of CHF 50 per registration will be charged for every registration modification received after Wednesday 5 April 2017. For a badge name change, written permission from the original participant will be required, along with full contact details of the substitution.
If a badge is lost or forgotten, an administrative fee of CHF 100 will be charged for the reprint of the badge after identity verification (passport, driving license or other recognized identification document).
